I am typing quickly and cautiously...my oh-so-loving and very private husband has informed me that he is not a fan of the blog. So if this blog ends mid-sentence, you'll know he is approaching the computer room. He says he doesn't want our life on the internet for everyone to read...I am wondering if knows that any stranger on the street can get any amount of information out of me at any given moment. So, I am disguising my blogging as sewing (the sewing machine is next to the computer) and listening carefully for his footsteps. I guess blogging is a little like the "Upper Country Reporter" (Ryan's hometown newspaper that is HILARIOUS and details what people have done lately and who was involved...maybe that is where blogging got its start!)
The real reason I haven't blogged in a few days (thank you to my faithful fans who are checking daily only to be disappointed) is that we are in the midst of several home improvement projects to be completed before the arrival of 2 very important guests. We would not be feeling the stress of completion were it not for 2 things: #1 The Lowe's guy apparently didn't care that when he tried to save us time by telling us we didn't need to prime or sand the entertainment center we were painting he was, in fact, wasting the 2 days it has taken to peel off 2 coats of paint to start all over and #2...the fact that we measure our life timeline by the weekends that Ryan is off work. So that means we only have 1 weekend between now and Thanksgiving and we will be at Harding then...YIKES!!! Oh well, it will all get done(he has some weekdays off)...and if it doesn't get done we know 2 very important guests that may need to bring their painting clothes! So there will be more blogs coming soon...he works the next 4 days...
